What is wellness?

Wellness is the mastery of one’s physical and mental well-being: weight, fitness, nutrition, stress, health, and the mindset to sustain wellness.

What is wellness coaching?

Wellness coaching is a confidential partnership between you and a Wellness Coach with the objective of helping you to achieve your wellness goals.

Wellness coaching utilizes effective behavioral psychology principles to help people to make lifestyle changes. Wellness coaching is a new paradigm for helping people become masters of their wellness.

How does wellness coaching work?

After submitting a brief health questionnaire, an initial 90-minute meeting will be set up where your personal wellness vision, 3-month goals, and your first week’s goals are created. This is not a cookie-cutter approach, but an individualized plan based on your needs and desires.
What’s the difference between wellness coaching and personal training? Personal training is exercise for your body and Coaching is exercise for your brain and body.
You will then meet weekly with your wellness coach to review the previous week’s goals, “coach” you through any obstacles you may have faced and/or discuss something you may want to learn more about; then a set action plan for the upcoming week is established. All meetings are by phone, so you can schedule them at a time and place that is convenient for you.

What will we discuss?

That depends on you, but topics typically discussed relate to stress management, nutrition, physical activity, weight management and life issues which impact wellness. Wellness coaching is client-driven. You will not be “put on” the latest health or weightloss craze.

Rather, you will work together with your wellness coach to develop your personal wellness vision. You and your wellness coach will then create a 3-month plan; this is the amount of time needed for meaningful behavioral change to become a part of your life.

  • Prior to paying, please contact us so that we can discuss your goals and determine if we are good fit for each other.
  • If we both determine we are a good fit we will send you a Health & Fitness questionnaire to fill out that will assess your health and fitness history and any health contraindications.
  • If there aren’t any health contraindications found after reviewing the questionnaire, Pick the plan that’s right for you (see pricing below). Contact us if you have any questions or if you have a specific circumstance not covered by the plans [pricing] below we can probably work something out.
  • Thereafter please go through the simple checkout process using PayPal.
  • After payment is received, you will receive a complimentary copy of the Big Book of Exercises and Workout Journal.
  • We will send you another form to fill out detailing height, weight, etc. and you will need to submit pictures of yourself (in shorts and top (women) and shirts (men)) and yes everything is held in the strictest of confidence as we expect you too to hold our proprietary information confidential as well.
  • Depending on your plan chosen we will correspond by email and/or phone weekly, biweekly and/or monthly and we will always respond to any questions via email.
